Publisher Level Infinite and developer Hota Studio have announced the details for the upcoming 2.3 update for Tower of Fantasy called Wandering Amidst Miasma. The new update 2.3 Wandering Amids Miasma will go live in the Tower of Fantasy on February 2, 2023. Players can expect a new story, a new map including detailed landforms and creatures, new bosses, and new challenges. Update 2.3 is also celebrating the six-month anniversary of Tower of Fantasy with tons of new events and rewards for players including nuclei, dark crystals, and more.
The most prominent feature of the new Wandering Amidst Miasma update is the new map which will allow you to explore the Miasmic Swamp where Vera’s ecosystem is taken to a whole new level. It features a diverse landscape filled with rock-layered valleys and abundant rainforest-like vegetation. Players who recently finished exploring the vast desert will have a whole new unique and contrasting area to explore in the Miasmic Swamp, rich with new creatures and plant life.
Added interactive elements such as the vibrant Neon Mushrooms and mysterious Egg devices will further enhance exploration in the overworld with their special gameplay and puzzle-solving mechanics. The 2.3 update is also adding two new bosses t the game. Jormungan utilizes vicious claymore attacks, while Eva unleashes spinning assaults augmented with her primary volt stat. Damage both bosses enough and you will be facing their second phases with an increased range of attack and number of lighting hits.
Three new instances and challenges are also coming to Tower of Fantasy in the new update. In Carnival Party, you will be battling against a band, defending against the unique guitar and vocal attacks. In Pursuit of Fate, players will defeat enemies while using a racecar to travel each phase. In the final challenge Origin of War offers seasonal multiplayer tower climbing gameplay that allows players to mix and match in builds.
Tower of Fantasy is a free-to-play open-world MMORPG that is currently available on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. You can also download it from the official website of the game.
