Top Hat Studios, Inc., renowned for its grassroots-indie-focused publishing, co-development, incubation, & consultancy services, is set to take the stage at this year’s summer Guerrilla Collective 2024. In a special, dedicated 12-minute segment, the studio will premiere never-before-seen content and announcements for a selection of its highly anticipated catalog titles.
Scheduled to air during the Guerrilla Collective livestream on June 6th at 10 am Pacific Time, the Top Hat Studios showcase promises an exciting glimpse into the future of indie gaming.

Among the highlights are exclusive trailers and announcements for the following games:
Crypt Custodian: Embark on a charming Metroidvania adventure as Pluto, a mischievous cat sentenced to be the afterworld’s janitor forever. Explore a vast landscape, battle beasts, and unravel the mysteries of the afterlife.

Under The Island: Dive into a charmingly 90s fantasy world in this 2D action RPG. Save your island home from sinking, encounter monsters, solve puzzles, and unleash the joy of exploration and discovery.
SONZAI: Experience a story-rich, social link-based RPG set in Kumotoshi, the only town in the world where magic exists. Draw strength from friends, interact with dynamic townsfolk, and battle evil spirits with combo-based weapons and skills.
Frogun Encore: Join Renata and Jake in a dashing standalone expansion/sequel to the indie hit Frogun! Embark on a global trek to prevent the return of Beelzebub, enjoying the entire adventure in true couch co-op.
Ova Magica: Welcome to Clover Town, where creature collecting meets social simulation in a charming JRPG setting. Befriend blobs, explore themed dungeons, and tend to your farmstead while unlocking new adventures.
In addition to the main showcase, Top Hat Studios has planned additional events throughout the week to highlight more announcements from its catalog:
- On June 4th at 12 pm Pacific Time, during the OTK Expo, the developer of the highly acclaimed comedy-RPG Athenian Rhapsody will reveal brand new content for the game. The event will feature an online system inspired by old-school Pokémon titles, allowing players to share their unique adventures.
- Also on June 4th at 8 am Pacific Time, Indie3, hosted by indie-focused YouTuber @ClemmyGames, will feature Crypt Custodian and Windswept, a 90s-inspired platforming title from Top Hat Studios.
Each game showcased during the event offers a unique and captivating experience, promising to captivate players with immersive storytelling, challenging puzzles, and memorable characters.
