Gato Salvaje Studio has released a brand-new update for their Celtic RPG The Waylanders adding new companions, quests, and more to the game. Ever since the release of The Waylanders in Early Access, the game has been getting regular content updates that have added tons of new companions, quests, fixes and improvements, and other content to the game. The latest update is no different and it has made the game a little chunkier with content as we head closer to the planned 2021 release.

As part of the latest update, new companions have joined the party. These include Ehyptian sage Khaldun, tricksy musical goblin Trasté, monster hunter Mal, and werewolf pathfinder Rea. All of them can be now recruited to join your adventure. With the addition of these new companions, the complete roster of recruitable companions has now increased to nine. Along with the addition of the new companions, you also have new loyalty quests for companion Mal, Brigg, and Berath.

These new quests range from Berath’s narrative-heavy story to a battle-filled adventure including a new boss and mini-boss along with Mal. Each new quest will pose a unique experience for you to experience in the game. This is not all as each new quest also adds a brand-new location in the game for your to explore.

You now have access to the new Nettle Cavern and Shaded Cascades areas. Each location adds an optional combat area for you to test new skills and party combinations. New main quests like Corrupted Circle also open up new additional areas for you to explore. Added Fateful Encounters will present random challenges to you to explore these new locations in the game and travel between maps.
