The Waylanders Characters

With just over a week away from launch, The Waylanders team teases Reborn characters Amergin and Nazhedja. The Waylanders is set to launch next week on 2nd February 2022 and it will be available on Steam and GOG.

Players who have tested out the game in its Early Access have so far been able to explore the Celtic Era, meet a cast of colorful companions, and discover a land filled with magic. But with the full release, RPG fans will step into the past in the medieval period where stone castles tower over haunted forests, and where humankind has spread into lands that were once inhabited by the creatures of myth.

The first companion to join in your adventure in The Waylanders is the druid Amergin. His story is said to be intertwined with yours in the future, and unlike the other mortals you have met so far, Amergin comes with years of experience, all the while being kept alive by magic that is slowly fading from the land.

Take a look at Amergin below:

The second of the characters The Waylanders is the immortal Mourian Seer Nazhedja, who has traveled the last thousand years the long way around. Because she is an immortal, she has a youthful appearance and is closely tied to the flow of the land’s magic, but as it is diminishes, so does she.

Lastly, Gato Salvaje co-founder Fernando Prieto had this to say,

The second act of The Waylanders is about rediscovery. From changes to the land, the rise of new factions, characters reborn, and companions transformed much will be different from what’s been experienced before. We’re excited to see how The Waylanders community experiences all the changes that have come to this world they’ve been exploring over the last year and a half.
