Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds has been shown off at the Xbox E3 Briefing 2019. The game is releasing on October 25, 2019. The Outer Worlds will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

The Outer Worlds is an upcoming RPG game by Obsidian that is still in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will be player drive RPG, which is traditional to Obsidian, where how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices affect not only the way the story develops; but your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.

Obsidian is highly known for titles like Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic II, and South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game will be published by Take-Two, which is a company that has published games like Grand Theft Auto.
