Dreamside Interactive and Ravenage Games have added many new features to The Frozen Flame demo on Steam, which comes after more than 65,000 players have ventured into the world of Arcana.
The Frozen Flame demo will be available all throughout this week and the weekend where it will stay available until 15 August 2022.
The game’s development team is gearing up for the next chapter but wants players to experience the game with the new features to get a taste of what is to come. The Frozen Flame demo comes with the following new features:
- Quest system rework
- New Boss with own arena
- Combat system improvements with a focus on smoothness and responsiveness
- Huge craft rework with basic farming and alchemy added
- Weather system now impacts gameplay
- UI design reworked
- Better optimization
- …and much more, including new recipes and items, NPCs, empowered monsters
Although the demo is just there to give you a mere taste of what’s to come, it still offers an experience complete with character progression, base building, crafting, and a vast world to explore, and a lot more that the developers are excitedly working on to add as they move to a leveled-up version of the game.
With the feedback taken from the demo, the devs will work on the next additions of the game and how to make it better for the community.

In The Frozen Flame, you start the journey in the comfort of Cradle of Keepers, a flourishing and vibrant place overrun by cursed creatures. As you venture deeper into the world, you will experience conditions much more threatening to overcome: poison swamps, freezing cold, and pitch-black darkness of the caves are just a few.
