Ubisoft has announced that its open-world racing game The Crew 2 is free to play for everyone on PS4 and PC this weekend. Starting from today, April 9, 2020, The Crew 2 will be free to play until April 13, 2020. This free-play weekend comes right after the release of the brand new update Inner Drive for the game which adds tons of new content to the game.

The free-play weekend will allow players to jump in the world of The Crew 2 and explore the base game along with the new update Inner Drive as well. Inner Drive brings 20 brand new cars to the game including some of the best vehicles ever made including the new 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and more. The new cars can also be used in the weekly LIVE Summits and players jumping in during the free weekend will also be able to try out these Live Summits.

Inner Drive also introduced tons of new customization options to the game including new window tints and the option to change the color and shape of a vehicle’s nitro. New avatars have also been added to the game which will represent your style in the digital world of The Crew 2. Check out the launch trailer of The Crew 2: Inner Driver below:

The Crew 2 will be free to play on PS4 and PC via Uplay during the free weekend. Players will get to keep all of their progression they made during this time and if they purchase the full game after the trial period ends, they will be able to continue right where they left off in the free weekend. From April 9, 16, 2020, The Crew 2 is also 75% off of the Deluxe Versions of the game and if you want to purchase the Season Pass on Uplay, it is worth 50% off.
