TEAMGROUP has launched a brand new range of SSDs as it develops a new strategy for expanding storage capacity with comprehensive upgrades. While Teamgroup is known for its fancy and high-performing M.2 SSDs and Rams, the new SSD range caters to a more generic user who is looking for reliable yet fast-performing storage solutions.
The new range includes the MP33 Pro PCIe SSD and the CX Series 2.5” SSD. Both of them are M.2 2280 specifications and come with PCIe Gen3x4 interface along with advanced SLC caching technology. Both SSDs provide a full range of storage capacities coupled with stable performance and a new option for expanding storage capacity to a wide range of users who are not looking for a too flashy SSD for their system.
MP33 Pro M.2 PCIe SSD uses PCIe Gen3x4 high-speed interface and highly compatible M.2 2280 specification giving users an easy storage solution for a diverse set of hardware. It is able to reach a maximum read/write speed of 2,100/1,700MB/s while the random read/write capacity of 4K IOPS 220,000 can greatly increase the efficiency of data processing. Users can opt for up to 2TB of storage space on the MP33 Pro M.2 PCIe SSD. The built-in smart algorithm management mechanism can ensure operation efficiency, speed, and data storage stability.
The CX Series 2.5” SSD is an excellent storage unit for entry-level systems. It comes with advanced SLC Caching technology and a read/write speed of 540/490 MB/s, which is four times faster than traditional hard drives. Depending on the model, you can opt for storage solutions from 240GB to 1TB. It is shock-resistant and drop-proof as well which further increases its life. These are a step down from the previously released EX Series of SSDs and offer a much cheaper storage solution for entry-level systems.
The price range of both SSDs are detailed in the table below:
MSRP (USD) | ||||||||
MP33 Pro | CX1 SSD | CX2 SSD | ||||||
512GB | 1TB | 2TB | 240GB | 480GB | 960GB | 256GB | 512GB | 1TB |
