Sega has released the launch trailer for Team Sonic Racing ahead of its release and it shows the game in action in its final form. As the name suggests, the launch trailer also focuses heavily on team racing. At its core, Team Sonic Racing is a team game and is best played in teams. The game is slated for release in less than a week and we cannot wait to jump in the game when it comes out next week.
The trailer also shows how much good the game visually is. It looks very well made graphically. The vehicles, environments and the characters look extremely detailed. Effects are crisp and blend very well with the overall environment of the game. This leaves the gameplay and in-game mechanics behind which is the real test of a kart racing game.
Earlier Sega released a gameplay trailer of Team Sonic Racing. It showed us the gameplay that we can expect from the game when it comes out next month and it looks pretty decent considering it’s a Sonic racing game. The game features some of the most iconic faces from the Sonic Universe so fans of the series can really look forward to some familiar faces. The main rival of Team Sonic Racing is arriving next month which is Crash Team Racing while on Nintendo Switch, it also has to compete with the king of kart racers Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It has been one of the best performers in terms of sales on the Nintendo Switch so Team Sonic Racer is coming at a very critical time.
Team Sonic Racing is slated for release next week on May 21, 2019, and it will come out on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The PC version is digital only while consoles will get both physical and digital versions of the game.
