Team Sonic Racing Enjoys First Place in UK Physical Sales

With major games dropping in sales, Team Sonic Racing blasts past all competition and secures the top spot in physical sales for last week’s sales charts. It manages to beat some of the biggest releases of this year so far which includes Days Gone and the recently released Rage 2. Rage 2 was at the top of the list last week but this week it has seen a massive decline in sales and has fallen to the fourth spot.

With Team Sonic Racing leading the pack for physical sales, Days Gone is still holding its place very firmly in the top charts at the second place while FIFA 19 enjoys the third place. The major fall for last week was Rage 2 which despite being the most recent release after Team Sonic Racer has dropped down to the fourth place. In the fifth place, we have Rockstar Games’ massive last year release Red Dead Redemption 2 which is still going strong.

The Division 2 has dropped to the sixth place under Red Dead Redemption 2 and it appears like the recent release of its eight-player Raid has not done much to boost its sales. On the seventh place, we have Mortal Kombat 11 which is still holding a strong position with the competition. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the only Nintendo Switch exclusive remaining in the top ten list and it is sitting at the eight positions.

Sitting at ninth position is Grand Theft Auto 5 which is perhaps one of the bestselling titles of the industry. Despite all these years, it is still sitting in the top ten most sold physical titles in the UK. The tenth place is occupied comfortably by Forza Horizon 4 which is doing exceptionally well for a racing game. We seldom see a racing game for this long in the top ten list after its release.
