ININ Games and TAITO have announced the release date of the iconic collection TAITO MILESTONES. TAITO MILESTONES is coming out physically for Nintendo Switch tomorrow, April 15, 2022, in Europe and North America. TAITO MILESTONES consists of 10 classic titles that span different genres through selected retailers and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
TAITO MILESTONES is a special compilation that consists of 10 of the best TAITO titles that defined video games. It includes groundbreaking classics from the 80s including titles from genres such as platformers, sports, shooting, puzzle, and more. All of these titles have an important part in TAITO’s history and each title set the bar for all future titles in their respective genres. The 10 titles included in the collection include:
- 1981 – QIX
- 1981 – SPACE SEEKER
- 1982 – ALPINE SKI
- 1982 – FRONT LINE
- 1982 – WILD WESTERN
- 1983 Chack’n Pop
- 1983 ELEVATOR ACTION
- 1985 The FairyLand Story
- 1986 HALLEY’S COMET
- 1987 THE NINJAWARRIORS

Avoid the enemies while filling in the territories on the playfield in QIX – the game that spawned a genre of action-puzzle painting games. Become a skilled ninja and defeat the evil Banglar’s hordes in THE NINJAWARRIORS – one of the games that established TAITO’s in-house sound team Zuntata in gaming music.
TAITO MILESTONES was originally announced for Nintendo Switch back in November 2021 and was later announced to release for the European market as well. TAITO MILESTONES now finally has a release date for tomorrow however you will have to hurry up to secure your copy since this collection might run out of stock soon. Both digital and physical versions of the collection will release tomorrow.
