Supernatural Life Sim Moonlight Peaks Launches on PC, and Nintendo Switch 1 & 2

Moonlight Peaks

XSEED Games has announced the launch of Moonlight Peaks, a supernatural life sim developed by Little Chicken Game Company, out now on Windows PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Google Play Games. Marvelous Europe is handling the European release while Clouded Leopard is publishing in Asia.

The game drops players into the titular town as a fledgling vampire trying to prove something simple to a skeptical father: that undead life doesn’t have to mean a life without compassion. It’s a farming-and-life-sim hybrid dressed up in gothic trappings, with werewolves, witches, and mermaids filling out the town alongside players’ new vampire neighbors.

In Moonlight Peaks, players settle into a haunted family cottage and fix it up to match their own gothic aesthetic while gradually working to convert the surrounding land into a farmstead. With progression, players unlock ancient vampiric abilities, brew potions, and build out a full grimoire of spells, all in service of coaxing a better harvest out of an otherwise spooky, half-forgotten settlement. There’s also a mystery thread running underneath it all, tied to the seven founding families of Moonlight Peaks and the secrets they’re keeping.

Social systems get real depth here too. Beyond general friendship-building, the game includes a full dating system with two dozen romanceable characters spread across the town’s various supernatural factions. Outside of farming and romance, there are plenty of side activities to complete, like fishing, foraging, potion crafting, and quieter hobbies like embroidery and flower arranging, alongside Nokturna, a collectible card game players can pick up and play against other residents.

The game comes in two different versions. The standard digital edition is priced at $39.99 for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and $34.99 everywhere else. A Digital Deluxe Edition is available exclusively on Steam for $44.97, bundling in a digital art book and soundtrack alongside the base game. Switch owners aren’t locked out of the Switch 2 version either, as a $5.00 Upgrade Pack lets them upgrade to the superior version. Up to July 13, early buyers can nab a 15% “early-bat” discount across all platforms.
