THQ Nordic has announced the release date of the upcoming Spongebob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. According to the new trailer of the game, the game is all set to release on June 23, 2020, and pre-orders for all versions of the game are now live apart from the digital pre-order for Nintendo Switch which begins on April 21, 2020.
The game will release simultaneously on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. THQ Nordic has also released two brand new trailers for the game’s Shiny Edition and the F.U.N Edition, both of them will release on June 23, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The pre-orders for both of these special Collector’s Editions are live on selected retailers as well. Starting with the Shiny Edition, it costs $149.99 and it will come with the following content:
- An 8″/20cm SpongeBob Figurine with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue
- Wallstickers
- 6 Lithographs
- SpongeBob SquarePants tennis socks
- The Game itself
