Sony came out with a handful of game trailers in its latest State of Play broadcast event, which included big titles like the Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and the most interesting announcement of Hitman 3 VR game.
Let’s take a look at all the trailers that were shown at the State of Play event, along with all the other game announcements.
Hitman 3 – VR
Step into the shoes of Agent 47 with another level of realism in Hitman 3 VR. The game was just announced with a trailer and set to launch early next year in January 2021. A release date has not been confirmed, but we do know what you can play the entire World of Assassination trilogy in VR.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
A new trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time gives us an in-depth look at the first new Crash Bandicoot game in over a decade. The trailer shows the new gameplay mechanics, playable characters, and new ways to experience the game. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is set to release on October 2, 2020.
Braid Anniversary Edition
Braid is a puzzle platformer that features beautiful hand crafted visuals and animations. The game is planned for a release sometime in 2021. The trailer is more of a developer diary video which explains about the rework of the classic game, originally released back in 2008.
Godfall Combat Gameplay Trailer
We finally got a the first extended look into the combat gameplay of Godfall, one of the titles announced for the PlayStation 5. The brand new looter-slasher, fantasy IP is set to launch this holiday season when the PS5 console launches. The gameplay video is a nine minute footage that dives deep into the world of Aperion, the five weapon classes, complete movesets for Longswords and Dual Blades, and more, all running on PlayStation 5.
The Pathless Gameplay Trailer
A 6 minute gameplay video for the newly announced title, The Pathless. From the creators of ABZÛ, The Pathless is a mythic adventure game about an archer and an eagle in a vast forest. Coming soon to PS5
Spelunky 2
At last, the adventure is about to begin! Get ready to go the Moon and meet the next generation of cave explorers – Spelunky 2 is coming to PS4 on September 15, 2020
Bugsnax Gameplay Trailer
A new gameplay trailer for the recently announced Bugsnax. From the minds behind Octodad: Dadliest Catch comes Bugsnax, a whimsical adventure game coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Epic Games Store holiday 2020
Control – Awe Expansion
Control is set to get its second expansion that is releasing this month on August 27. As Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, Jesse Faden must enter the Investigations Sector and confront the creature lurking within this long-abandoned part of the Bureau. This threat has haunted the sector for years, waiting on the other side of the sealed Firebreak. In order to reclaim the Investigations Sector from its clutches, Jesse will need to explore the numerous Altered World Events investigated here, including one from the town of Bright Falls.
AWE brings new story content and side missions as well as new weapons and mods to the world of Control.
The Pedestrian
Enter into a dynamic 3D world with stunning graphics and challenging puzzles. You play by rearranging and reconnecting public signs in order to explore and advance through each engaging environment. The Pedestrian is coming to PS4 January 2021! Developed by Skookum Arts
