Snoop Dogg has Launched his First eSports Series ‘Gangsta Gaming League’

Gangsta Gaming League

Snoop Dogg has officially kickstarted his first ever eSports Series last night called Gangsta Gaming League in collaboration with Merry Jane. The rapper, producer and actor has finally jumped into eSports and it looks like a strong start for his eSports Series.

The first eSports tournament was held in Snoop Dogg’s own Los Angeles Compound and it was livestreamed across multiple channels. Snoop Dogg himself hosted the event with the comedian Dan Rue and you can expect that the hosting was top notch. Nothing can be boring with Snoop Dogg himself siting behind the mic.

The series’ first match was played on Madden NFL 2019 with eight of Snoop Dogg’s closest gaming friends. The winner of the series will be crowned the TOP DOGG of GGL and win the highest share of the total prize pool of $11,000.

Check out Snoop Dogg introducing his series in the official trailer below.

Players included in the first tournament of Gangsta Gaming League is Red Woods, Red Grant, JC, Tripo Loc, Lala, Shelton, Waniac and Young Sagg. Snoop Dogg has been participating in different gaming events in the past few years as well. He took part in a Battlefield 1 livestream and he managed to play better than Jammie Foxx and Terry Crews.

His new venture in eSports might be a good one since he has been in the gaming community for quite some time and his choice of first game is also a decent one which is Madden NFL 19. We are surprised that he did not jump on the Battle Royale bandwagon right away since that genre is the top one these days.

You can follow Snoop Dogg’s official channels for more details on the eSports Series and follow him so you can be notified when the next leg of the series takes place. We have listed all his channels below.
