Developer Glass Bottom Games has announced the PS4 and PS5 release date for their avian action sports game SkateBIRD. SkateBIRD is a unique bird skating game that was initially launched on PC via Steam and itch.io along with Nintendo Switch, and Xbox platforms and is also available for streaming via Amazon Luna. Now after a long break, this action-packed skating game is heading to PlayStation and will allow PS4 and PS5 players to get a shot at it as well.

In SkateBIRD, you are a little bird however that is not going to stop you from grinding bending straws, kickflip over staplers, and carving killer lines through cardboard and sticky tape parks. You lost your skating friend who hung up his skateboard for a boring job and now you have no one to skate with but you decide to change that as you take on the skating park all alone. However, it does not take you long to make new skating friends as other birds will come to check out your park and you can also find new parks to skate in with their help.
The PlayStation release of SkateBIRD will allow you to relive the legend of Anthony Hawk with a brand-new map called Skate Haven. Skate Haven is filled with twists and turns for birds who are not afraid of getting it down and dirty. You will be able to capture your stunts and dynamic action shots with the new Selfie Stick camera mode. You will be able to score massive points for the FANCY meter which increases with daring combos, death-defying tricks, and high-flying missions. SkateBIRD also features a big range of customization options including bird types and colors, accessories, and new board graphics and wheels.
SkateBIRD is slated for release on PS4 and PS5 on June 1, 2023, on PS5 and PS4. It is currently available on PC via Steam and itch.io, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Amazon Luna.
