Ukrainian developer Frogwares has announced that its upcoming title Sherlock Holmes The Awakened has gone gold and also revealed the release date for it. Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is releasing on April 11, 2023, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The development work on Sherlock Holmes The Awakened has wrapped up and the game can now be played from start to finish.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a Cthulhu meets Sherlock Homes detective horror adventure game in which young Sherlock and Watson undertake their first major case together. An Eldritch god-obsessed cult is making moves in the shadows to bring about a world-altering prophecy and its up to the young detective duo to thwart their plans. This game was originally released back in 2006, The Awaked is now a full remake and substantial rewrite that is built and redesigned from the ground up to run in Unreal Engine 4.
The release of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened comes after many delays due to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. However, the game is now releasing on all platforms simultaneously.
