UK games publisher Kwalee, and three-person developer Damage State are all set to launch their adrenaline-fueled, classic FPS Scathe, next month on August 31, 2022. The game will initially launch on PC, but will follow on consoles in early 2023.
The game’s blood soaked gameplay trailer was showcased last month in June. Watch the Scathe gameplay trailer below:
Scathe is an adrenaline fueled, classic FPS with big guns and even bigger demons. You play as Scathe, Enforcer of the legions of Hell, forged from the earth by the Divine Creator themself. And you, like your fallen kin before you, must prove your worth by navigating a deviously crafted maze, entangled with demonic evil at every twist and turn. So, grab your Hellhammer, lock’n’load and get ready to unleash your almighty fury!
The new trailer featured Scathe’s Dark Magic powers and how they could be used in the battle against the evil, lurking deep in the pits of hell. Players will have to scour the underworld for ancient relics to harness the dark powers of the Fallen Mages.
Charge up your arcane energy by crushing your enemies and channel it into potent spells. Heal yourself, summon aid, and wreak havoc on the legions of Hell.
