Samurai Shodown Releases on PC Next Month via Epic Game Store

SNK’s weapon-based fighter Samurai Shodown is making its way for a PC release next month on June 11, as the game will be releasing via Epic Game Store. A special pre-order discount for the game is live right now.

After its successful console release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, Samurai Shodown is all set to launch for PC players next month. If you pre-order the game right now, you will get a 10% discount on all the DLC characters introduced in the game.

Classic Samurai Shodown concepts like the Rage Gauge, Lightning Blade, and Super Special Moves make their return! Feel your heart race as you’re moments from death, only to turn the tables in one fell swoop!

The game was first introduced back in 1993, and after 11 years from the previous installment, the series adds in a completely new game. Samurai Shodown is known for its breath-taking battles and stunning characters with amazing visuals and sound design that enhance the experience.

The latest game in the series takes place one year before the events of the original Samurai Shodown game. where tensions are still hot in the land of the rising sun. in addition to the several characters in the roster, players can also choose Shizumaru Hisame, a famous protagonist of Samurai Shodown III.

Earlier in the month, SNK announced the latest female character called Iroha who joined the roster of the game on May 13. Iroha is the third character to join the roster in season 2 pass DLC, and is a crane which means she can take the form of a human. Following an unknown master, she is a very agile and exemplary fighter to join the series. First introduced back in Samurai Shodown IV, Iroha hasn’t been seen ever since in the series up until now. So it is a welcome return of the character in the latest game in the series.
