Very Few Players Managed to Complete Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo

Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo

Capcom released a timed demo for Resident Evil 2 last week called Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo which only gave players 30 minutes to explore the game and try to reach the end before it was over for good.

The demo has a lot to explore and sadly 30 minutes were not really enough for that which led to a large number of players unable to finish the demo in time. According to Capcom’s official website, official stats have been revealed which shows a staggering number of players were unable to end the game.

According to Capcom’s website, 1.4 million players actually played the demo when it was launched. Out of these 1.4 million players, only 28 percent players actually managed to finish the demo in time.

This proves that players were least bothered about reaching the end of the demo and they wanted to explore the details and the mechanics of the remake which is coming out later this month. It could also mean that players were more interested in simply killing zombies because the demo trailer was going to pop up for everyone.

Players did found different ways to extend their playthrough beyond the 30-minute restriction by downloading trainers on PCs and making different profiles however even with these tricks and gimmicks, every time they started the game, it was from the beginning unless they were using a trainer on a PC.

Resident Evil 2 is coming out later this month so for the time being, this demo was enough to give us a little teaser of the game and still keep us wanting to play the actual game. Capcom has surely proved that it can do Remakes right and after this we would like Capcom to release a similar remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis as well.
