Red AMD Radeon VII 50th Anniversary Edition Revealed

It has been 50 years in the business for AMD and in order to celebrate that the company has revealed the Red AMD Radeon VII 50th Anniversary Edition. AMD has also released a special edition AMD Ryzen 2700X CPU that comes with CEO Lisa Su’s signature on it. It is more of a collector’s item and the performance is not different.

The AMD Radeon VII 50th Anniversary Edition is something different. While the original card comes in silver, the AMD Radeon VII 50th Anniversary Edition comes in Red. You can check out images of the graphics cards below:

 

The special edition has the same specifications as the standard version and will retail for $699. You might not be interested in getting the card keeping in mind that Navi is around the corner but this is something for the fans that have been with team Red all the way.

AMD is not the only company that is releasing special edition products. Selected AIB partners are also releasing products in order to celebrate AMD’s 50 years in the business.

Gigabyte has released the X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi-50 and Sapphire has released the Nitro+ Radeon RX 590 AMD 50th Anniversary Edition which comes in Yellow. It is a very different color for a graphics card but if you are interested in building a Yellow gaming system then this is something that you can look into.

AMD Radeon VII Ryzen 2700X 50th Anniversary Edition

XFX has released a special edition RX 590 graphics card as well and it can boost to 16000 Mhz. Only 500 cards will be available to if you are interested in getting one then you should grab one quick before they are all sold out.

The upcoming AMD 500 series motherboards have already been teased and we should be able to learn more at Computex 2019. We have also heard that Navi will be revealed at E3 2019, which should be very interesting indeed. We also know that AMD is going to power the upcoming consoles and we might hear about the upcoming Xbox at E3 as well.
