Rainbow Six Quarantine

The much speculated Rainbow Six Quarantine has finally been revealed by Ubisoft at the E3 2019 press conference. The announcement was made with a trailer that showed a little bit of what we should be expecting from the game.

Take a look at the trailer below:

We already knew that Ubisoft had planned a spin-off game inspired by Rainbow Six: Siege’s Outbreak limited time mode. The game will follow the same steps as Outbreak but comes as a standalone title.

When Outbreak was introduced in Rainbow Six: Siege, it was met with a lot of praise from the community and fans. The mode since has been requested by a lot of players and fans alike to bring it back into the game. Ubisoft might just have done that, but instead brought out a dedicated standalone game that will fully feature the mode in a unique but similar way.

Ubisoft goes on to talk about the details of Quarantine. Saying that the game will be a tactical co-op first-person shooter that will task players in teams of operators to work and fight together against the threat of a technological parasite. The teaser trailer does not give out any details, or what the locations shown are about, nor did they give out any story details of the game.

Rainbow Six: Quarantine is set to release in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A release date has not been confirmed yet by Ubisoft.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has also announced that it is going to launch its 13th season tomorrow. Operation Phantom Sight goes live in Rainbow Six: Siege, as it brings new Operators and a reworked map.

A launch trailer for the update was also released. Check it out below:

The trailer features Warden, who is one of the new Operators coming in the update, killing every enemy operator all on his own. Warden is a Secret Service agent who joins the game as a defensive specialist and comes with the ability to see through smoke and avoid getting blind from flash grenades.
