A Newegg insider has leaked the specifications for the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6900XT, RX 6800XT, RX 6700XT cards. The reveal was spotted by Videocardz and shows the specifications of several AMD Radeon RX 6000 series cards.
According to Videocardz, the Newegg Insider is a company blog that is advertised on the retailer’s front page and it provides product overviews and buying guides for customers. The latest edition of Newegg Insider listed the specifications for the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series but do not appear to be fully correct.
According to the Newegg Insider blog, the Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, and RX 6700 XT are equipped with the same 1,500 MHz base clock and 16 Gbps GDDR6 memory chips. This seems to be doubtful since the Radeon RX 6000 series is expected to feature higher clock speeds compared to the first-generation RDNA series.
If the Stream Processor (SP) count is legit, the Radeon RX 6700 XT should replace the Radeon RX 5700 XT, which has 8GB of GDDR6 memory which will be odd to see, the successor arriving with less memory. The specifications of the RX 6900XT and RX 6700XT also appear to assume that both cards would offer the full Navi 21 and Navi 22 GPU configurations respectively.
According to the Newegg Insider post, the Radeon RX 6900XT will have 5,120 SPs and 16GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit memory bus, which will result in a bus bandwidth of 512 GB/s. The Radeon RX 6800 XT will have 3,840 SPs and 12GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit memory bus totaling to a 384 GB/s bus bandwidth.
The last card leaked in the Newegg inside blog is the RX 6700 XT which will have 2,560 SPs and 6GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit memory bus totaling to a 384 GB/s bus bandwidth. The TDPs listed were 300W, 200W, and 150W for the Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT and RX 6700 XT respectively.
The complete specifications from the Newegg Insider blog are listed below.
Graphics Card | Stream Processors | Base Clock (MHz) | Memory Capacity | Memory Bandwidth (GBps) | Memory Interface | TDP (W) |
Radeon RX 6900 XT | 5,120 | 1,500 | 16GB GDDR6 | 512 | 256-bit | 300 |
Radeon RX 6800 XT | 3,840 | 1,500 | 12GB GDDR6 | 384 | 192-bit | 200 |
Radeon RX 6700 XT | 2,560 | 1,500 | 6GB GDDR6 | 384 | 192-bit | 150 |
AMD’s next-generation desktop graphics cards based on AMD RDNA2 architecture will be announced on October 28th.
