“Exclusive Content Is The Way To Go” For PS5 And PS4 Says PS Head

PS5 Exclusive

PlayStation has got a lot of exclusive content over the years and that is one of the reasons why the PS4 has sold so many units. We got great games that include God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Detroit: Become Human. It seems that the PS5 will get more exclusive titles and the same can be said about the PS4 as well.

The head of PlayStation Italy, Marco Saletta talked about how exclusive titles have made the company successful and that is not going to change in the future. The following is what he had to say in this regard:

There have been trends that helped the adoption of the platform over the years: the exclusives on which we worked in a timely manner shown that this is the way to go. Exclusive content is the way to go to improve. I think we still have a few years ahead of us for PS4, and we’ll work both in engaging the community that already owns the console and to invite new consumers within our world.

He also talked about single-player and multi-player games. While developers are now edging towards multiplayer titles, Saletta mentioned that the company is working on content. That said, single-player games like God of War and Spider-Man were very successful but there are multiplayer games that have a massive following as well. Such games include FIFA and Fortnite.

There is a lot of anticipation around the upcoming PS5 and what it is going to offer. It is great to know that the company is going to keep on releasing exclusive games and content for the upcoming consoles as well as the current ones.

Some specifications of the upcoming consoles have been leaked and it is possible that the PS5 will support wireless PSVR 2 and will come with deep learning features. Stay tuned for more news and information.
