Sony has unveiled the games that are going to be coming on the PlayStation Store for March to the PlayStation Plus members for free. The games include Modern Warfare and The Witness. This is also the first month that the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3 are not receiving any titles after Sony announced the end of free games for the two consoles.
Modern Warfare is the remastered version of the 2007 that was released in 2016. the game is a first person shooter of the popular Call of Duty franchise, and has been remastered for 4k support on the PlayStation 4 Pro. It is also one of the most critically-acclaimed game for being an intense, cinematic actions, while receiving universal praise as being one of the most influential games of all time.
On the other hand, the second game coming in March is The Witness is a puzzle game that is created by Thekla Inc. and designed by Jonathan Blow. Jonathan is also the creator of the puzzle video game Braid back in 2008. The Witness is a puzzle game that sees the player in a mysterious and beautiful island where you have to travers and solve puzzles.
As this is the first month that the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 are not going to get any free games, it also comes after the announcement that Sony made to drop the monthly free lineups by saying,
Many of our fans are playing on the PlayStation 4 platform, with the increasingly vast number of PlayStation 4s in the homes around the world.
Both the games will be available to download for free on Tuesday, 5 March. Players who have the PS Plus membership can access the games for free.
