Movie Games and True Games Syndicate have announced the release of their upcoming new simulator/adventure game, Prison King. The game is inspired by Thief and Shawshank Redemption and is said to be launching sometime in 2023.

Sentenced for innocence… And now you need to learn how to survive. Navigate the prison life, make deals with guards and gangs alike, manage and sell contraband, and plot your next move. Your goal: to get out.
In Prison King, you have to survive your sentence in this first-person simulator, set behind the prison bars. You will have to get into the politics that brew inside the prison, make deals, dig for useful intel, negotiate with guards and prove your worth to everyone that is watching.
Becoming a reliable prison dealer will allow you to make your fellow inmates dependent on you. You can then use the connections to obtain contraband, manage the stock and sell it to other convicts. Carve your own position and climb to the top, ensuring your safety.
The other thing about the story is that you are innocent and wrongfully prisoned. You will have to find out a way to escape prison, by collecting evidence to prove your innocence. If that is not what you want, you can devise a brilliant plan to escape. The choice will be yours.
Prison King is planned for a launch next year in 2023. Although we don’t have a release date information, the scheduler suggests that the game is still in development before a confirmed date can be announced.
