Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin Pokemon Guide – Where to Find All

Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin Pokemon Guide

Our Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin Guide details all the new Pokemon that you can find in the new Bubbly Basin expansion. The expansion adds 50 new Pokemon, most of which are Water-type Pokemon, along with new underwater habitats that will have to be constructed before you can invite them into your Pokemon paradise.

Bubbly Basin Guide—Pokemon Pokopia

Before exploring the new Bubbly Basin content, you need to learn how to. It is taught by Manaphy, which is not included in the paid Expansion Pass, but rather in the free 2.0 update. Once you have installed the update and have started playing Pokemon Poképedia, you will get a message to visit Professor Tangrowth at Bleak Beach, who you will find in his usual spot, which is outside the Pokémon Center.

After you talk with the Professor, he will ask you to go and investigate a mysterious island that has popped up nearby. Go to the island using Surf and find Manaphy. This will be our first encounter with Manaphy, but this meeting won’t be added to your Pokedex. During this stage, Manaphy’s job is to teach you the ability to Dive, and after doing so, he will leave the area.

You will encounter Manaphy at a later point as you keep progressing through the main story of the Bubbly Basin DLC.

Once you have learned the ability to Dive, you can now start to delve into some new underwater content if you have the Expansion Pass. Once you have entered the new content and spoken with Popplio for the first time, you’ll unlock a new Pokedex (Basin) menu, which is used to track the Pokémon you find across the Bubbly Basin Area.
