Publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Smallthing Studios have announced the Simon the Sorcerer – Origins, a prequel to the original classic. Simon the Sorcerer – Origins is a brand-new chapter in the classic point-and-click classic and it serves as a prequel to the original Simon the Sorcerer. The game is currently in development for PC and consoles and is slated for release in 2023.
The developer Smallthing Studios is visiting the franchise after over 30 years and the latest title in the franchise is a fresh, modern reimagining of the original franchise. The original Simon the Sorcerer was released on MS-DOS and Amiga computers and since its launch, has entertained millions of players for over 30 years and it also paved the way for many modern point-and-click video games. Simon the Sorcerer – Origins will feature modern visuals and cutting-edge gameplay mechanics.

This is the official prequel for Simon the Sorcerer, and it will transport you back to a few weeks before the events of the first episode.
