After previously releasing Call of Duty WWII, Sony has just announced the second game for its line up free PlayStation Plus games for June, and it is Star Wars Battlefront II. After a very disappointing last month for games, Sony might have made it up for it by announcing the two games.
This also quashes any rumors going around that we would be getting Marvel’s Spider-Man paired with Call of duty WWII. Having said that, Star Wars Battlefront II is still quite a popular game online and is a welcome announcement for this month’s lineup.
Star Wars Battlefront II has received 25 free game updates since its launch originally, including the online co-op, massive offline battles against AI enemies in the Instant Action mode, and the non-linear, multiplayer war between planetary surfaces and capital ships in Capital Supremacy. The game will be available next week on June 2.
Call of Duty WWII needs no introduction as it was released back in 2017, and is quite popular for its multiplayer mode. The game is a return to the past featuring an engrossing campaign that has missions portraying the real WW2 conflict scenes. It’s multiplayer will have you hooked in the classic style of battle with other players online. The game is available right now on the PlayStation Store.
This is also a reminder that it is the last chance to claim the PS Plus games for May which include Cities: Skylines, and Farming Simulator 19. You have just a few days left if you haven’t claimed the free copies of both the games.
