Starbreeze Studios is kicking off 2023 strong with the official reveal for PayDay 3 along with the game’s Steam page where fans can now wishlist the game as well. The studio also confirms the global release of PayDay 3 for 2023 with its latest announcement and the game will be released on PC and consoles. A specific release date is not announced at this point however the game is confirmed for its release this year.

PayDay 3 is a direct sequel to PayDay 2, which is considered one of the most-played games on PC. It was released in 2013, nearly 10 years ago, and it has since sold over 40 million copies. The game also has a massive community of around 8 million players across the game’s Steam page. PayDay 3 will follow the story of the franchise’s iconic characters Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, and Chains who are coming out of their retirement. The game will feature a brand-new city this time around, New York City which will be the playground for players as they jump into the title with familiar mechanics.
PayDay is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter where players embark on an epic crime spree across the USA. PayDay 3 will be the third title in the franchise which originally started its journey back in 2011 and has since captured its own fair share of community when it comes to first-person shooters. The previous title in the franchise, PayDay 2 was also released on VR which arrived as a free upgrade for everyone who owned a VR headset.
