Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous 1 Million

Owlcat Games has finally announced the release date of its upcoming CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for PC as the second beta goes live for backers. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will release on PC on September 2, 2021, and currently the game is available on Steam to all players who backed the developers during the game’s Kickstarter campaign or the Slacker Backer. This is the second beta of the title and will be the last playable version of the game before its full release.

The second beta builds further on the first beta and players who participated in the first beta can now simply update their client to get access to the second beta. It spans over the first four chapters of the game and includes new content such as the Crusade gameplay, new side quests, an intelligent weapon companion, a weather system, and much more. All content featured in the first beta is also available in the second beta making it a healthy beta filled with content.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Release Date

The main theme of the second beta is the Crusade gameplay where you will be able to command and lead armies as a Crusade commander against demonic armies. You will need to use strategic army management and tactical turn-based combat to win the fights which is inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III classics. You will have access to new side quests along with a new enchanted weapon that also acts as a mini companion.

You will find this new weapon at the Ancientries and Wonders Shop. The second beta also features a new weather system that simulates wind, snow, rain, and lightning storms. Additional features include enemy dismemberment, Slacker Backer-funded dinosaur pets, and mounts, the final UI design for most in-game systems, including combat, character creation and inventory, enhanced tutorials for newcomers, never-before-seen art assets, balance fixes for the Core difficulty level, and new abilities and archetypes for certain classes.

The full release is initially planned for PC via Steam and GOG and if you are looking forward to jumping in the full release later this year, you can add the game to your wishlist as well on your preferred platform. A console release is also planned however the developer will share details on it in the future.
