Publisher Super Rare Originals and developer Lateralis have announced the release date of their upcoming violent top-down shooter OTXO. OTXO is a fast-paced and dark roguelike featuring precise but savage gunplay and time-bending slow motion and it will release on Steam on April 20, 2023. This is the third title released under the Super Rare Originals umbrella, the publishing division of Super Rare Games which is known for publishing amazing, limited-edition physical releases of digital-only Nintendo Switch games.

In OTXO, you will enter an inexplicable, abstract mansion to rescue a loved one in this violent top-down shooter with roguelite elements. You will play as the protagonist exploring this mansion, unveiling its secrets, and taking down enemies who come in the way. Key features of OTXO include:
- Tons of replayability – OTXO will take the player through 8 areas with a randomly laid out selection of rooms out of the over 150 hand-crafted rooms built in the game. No two runs of the game will be the same.
- Customization – Find the setup that’ll help you break the cycle from a whole selection of unlockable weapons and over 100 acquirable abilities from the game’s enigmatic bartender.
- Playstyle – With the slow-mo mechanic, Focus, at your disposal OTXO will make the player feel powerful and in control. However, be careful because the variety of enemy types thrown in your way can quickly turn the tides of the combat if you don’t adapt accordingly.
- Soundtrack – Fully immerse yourself into the brutal noir-esque murder ballet through the gritty pulse pumping soundtrack composed by the developer himself.

Super Rare Originals will also bring OTXO to other platforms as well however they will be revealed at a later stage. Super Rare Originals is also currently working on bringing POST VOID to PlayStation however the release date will be announced later as the game has been delayed once since its Spring 2022 release.
