Hunt Folklore Monsters in Open World Horror Hunting Game The Axis Unseen

The Axis Unseen

Currently, under development at Just Purkey Games, The Axis Unseen is an open-world horror hunting game where you stalk and hunt folklore monsters. Just Purkey games is a new studio formed by one of the developers of Skyrim and Fallout. You upgrade your senses with the power of creatures and find new elemental arrow types however you need to watch out as the monsters are hunting you as well.

The hunt begins just like any other normal hunt where you must follow their tracks and blood trials. You must pay attention to where the wind is blowing so that the monsters do not catch your smell as you are approaching them. As you hunt these monsters, you can upgrade your senses with their powers as well. These unlock additional senses for you which allow you to do various things such as seeing scent particles, feeling their warmth left behind on their tracks, and even seeing colors which are not been seen before.

Along with enhanced senses, you have your bow and arrows with you with which you hunt the animals. You can upgrade your bow and find various new arrow types such as fire, wind controlling or time distorting arrows. You do all of this while listening to original music by Clifford Meyer who is one of the previous members of the legendary post-metal bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. The soundtrack is a unique blend of Heavy Metal and primitive instruments, and it dynamically adjusts to the gameplay.

The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam right now. The Steam page also has additional details about the game as well. At this point no particular release date or window has been announced for the game.
