Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q

Nvidia RTX Mobile graphics have been rumored for a while now. We even got to see some trademarks that confirmed that such a thing exists but not we have spotted the Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics card in Final Fantasy XV benchmarks.

The benchmark reveals that the RTX 2070 Max-Q is more powerful than the Quadro M6000 and even the AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition. That is very impressive keeping in mind that the RTX 2070 Max-Q is a mobile graphics solution while the other cards that we have mentioned are desktop graphics cards.

The RTX 2070 Max-Q is also faster than a desktop GTX 1080 and GTX 980 Ti. You can take a look at the numbers and see for yourself.

It is interesting to see the power that the Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q has to offer but it is worth noting that these are initial numbers and that performance could get better with new drivers and some tweaking. The cooling used to support these graphics cards will also be a factor that links to the performance of the Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q.

It will be interesting to see what kind of performance loss the RTX 2070 Max-Q has compared to the desktop graphics card. The RTX branding means that the card will support real-time ray tracing but keeping in mind that the RTX 2070 is the minimum requirement for the feature we will have to wait and see how well the mobile version is able to run the feature.
