NVIDIA has released official benchmarks for Cyberpunk 2077 running on different GeForce series RTX 3000 and RTX 2000 series GPUs and according to the benchmark results, even the 3000 series cards are struggling to maintain 60 FPS on 4K including the flagship RTX 3090. The 1440p performance however looks very promising on the RTX cards.
NVIDIA benchmarked Cyberpunk 2077 with RTX & DLSS enabled to showcase the full potential of its GeForce RTX hardware. In NVIDIA’s benchmarks, none of the graphic cards were able to maintain 60 FPS at 4K or 1440p resolutions with all the settings turned to the max.
However, the story is completely different with DLSS on and off and DLSS is becoming a saving grace for NVIDIA in Cyberpunk 2077 performance providing significant performance increment when running the title at higher resolutions like 1440p and 4K.
An important thing to note is that the benchmarks were performed on an unpatched build of Cyberpunk 2077 which was running DRM protection and no official drivers were released on time of benchmark. But NVIDIA has worked closely with the developers at CDProjektRed in implementing its RTX features in the game, these new performance metrics should have the final performance optimizations for PC in place.
All benchmarks were carried out at Ultra graphics and ray tracing preset with DLSS set to performance mode. The benchmarks were performed on a system running the Intel i9-10900K, 32 GB of memory, and Windows 10 64-bit edition.
RTX 3090 barely touches the 60 FPS while running Cyberpunk 2077 mark while the RTX 3080 is hovering in the low 50’s at 4K. The previous-gen flagship RTX 2080 Ti manages to deliver around 40 FPS at 4K.

At 1440p, RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 easily manage to deliver stable 60+ FPS while the RTX 3070 and 2080 Ti deliver almost the same 50 FPS on these settings. RTX 3060 Ti delivers 44 FPS on average on 1440p which is not bad for a 400$ card.

All RTX 3000 series manage to pull 60+ FPS on 1080p with the RTX 2080 Ti and 2080 Super also performing well on 1080p.

We will have to wait and see if official drivers and game updates change the performance story or not.
