In a recent announcement, Nintendo has said that two new games are joining the NES game library available exclusively to all Nintendo Switch Online Memberships. These games are Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Blaster Master.
Both these titles will be added to the Online exclusive app on Nintendo Switch console next week and players who currently own the Nintendo Switch Online membership will be able to jump right in them.
When Nintendo announced about a premium online subscription for Switch, they also announced that all members will get exclusive access to classic NES games on their modern console free of cost. These new titles are being added in the same library.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link was launched back on NES console in 1987 in Japan and 1988 across the globe. This was the second title in the Zelda franchise and it came with a lot of major improvements than the first title. It was released again on GameCube, Game Boy Advanced and Wii’s Virtual console.
This was one of the best titles in the Zelda franchise and players who could not play this amazing game until now, will be able to experience this gem and understand why it was such a classic back then. The already Zelda is already part of Nintendo Switch online service so this makes it the second game to come on Nintendo Switch via the premium online service.
The second game coming along Zelda II is Blaster Master. This is also a great classic NES game which was originally released back in 1988. In Blaster Master, players will take on the role of Jason who has followed his pet frog Fred down a hole in order to find it. He then becomes friend with a tank named SOPHIA the 3RD and drives it around to find Fred.
This is yet another great title that offers decent bit of action in both side scrolling and top down mechanics. You will explore different areas and clear them using your platforming skills. You will also come face to face with some really cool bosses that will surely test your patience in the game.
Previously, Nintendo had added three titles Adventures of Lolo, Ninja Gaiden and Wario’s Woods to the service last month.
Both titles will be added to the NES roster next week. Are you excited to play these nostalgic games on Nintendo Switch? Let us know in the comments section below.
