Respawn has teased in what appears to be a new energy gun coming to Apex Legends today. The short teaser was shared on the official Twitter account with an announcement planned for today.
The name or the type of the new gun is not known at this point and the teaser video is also pixelated which means that the gun is not visible properly in the video. Looks like it won’t be long before we can actually see which type of gun is finally coming to the game.
Since its release, Respawn has been making the game better, stable and adding more content to the game and this new gun is also part of the constant updates promised by the developer. As time passes by, more content will come to Apex Legends specially once the Battle Pass kicks off next week.
Respawn earlier released a content plan for Apex Legends which shows that future is everything but dull for Apex Legends and it could really give Epic Games a run for its money with Fortnite. The latest gun is also a welcoming addition to the game since we saw a lot of guns coming and going from Fortnite as well.

As you can see in the tweet that the new weapon will be available in the game right after its announcement and we will not have to wait for it come out. The weapon seems to be firing energy shots which makes us believe that will be an energy weapon.
At the end of the video you can also see that the weapon is being charged which could mean that players can fire a more powerful charged shot as well with this new gun. This will make it a very solid weapon to use in combat and its dual firing modes could come great in different scenarios.
