Since the Isle of Man TT has been canceled because of the ongoing pandemic, the organizers are planning to do what every other event is doing, going virtual. NACON and KT Racing along with the Isle of Man TT Races have announced the Virtual TT Ride on the Edge 2020 an online event that will allow fans to battle each other on the Isle of Man in order to win a trip to the original event in 2021. The event will take place within TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 from June 13 to 25, 2020 and will be the first-ever Virtual TT Race.
An Initial event will be held before during which eight teams composed of invited competitors from the TT races and experienced players will take part from June 2 to June 25, 2020. This event will be part of the Isle of Man Government’s TT Lock-in program of entertainment. Riders who would have taken part in the TT Races will get a chance to compete with other riders from around the world and win the very first virtual version of the iconic race.
All official results of the events can be seen on the official Isle of Man TT Races website and their social media channels. During the competition, some of the big names competing with each other will include Davey Todd, Conor Cummins, and Peter Hickman. After this initial event, gamers from all over the world will be able to take part in the event on PS4 and PC that runs from June 13 to 25.
They will compete with each other for a trip for two to the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man in 2021 to meet their favorite riders live in action. The runner-up will win an official and limited-edition TT 2020 Arai helmet. The event will consist of three rounds. They are scheduled as:
- June 13 -17, 2020 – Open qualification on the Circuit of Ireland. Top 50 players will move to the next round.
- June 20 – 22, 2020 – A Lap of Isle of Man. The top 10 players will move forward.
- June 25 – Final Match over 6 laps of Isle of Man

TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 is the second game in the Isle of Man franchise by KT Racing.
