NetherRealm Studio To Fix Towers of Time in Mortal Kombat 11 Soon

Mortal Kombat 11 Fix

A day after the release of Mortal Kombat 11, many players have complained the grinding that Towers of Time require in the game. NetherRealm has acknowledged the issue and is expected to roll out a fix.

Players have been reporting that the progression and rewards from Towers of Time need to be adjusted. Some of the more difficult fights in the mode have left players upset with the unblockable attacks and AI assists.

The issue is pretty serious and saying that earning currency is ”grindy” would be an understatement. The fact is that completing the entire story of the game will barely give you enough currency to clear one room in Krypt. Some players reported of getting just 1 Brutality, some common skins and few consumables.

Completing Towers of Time without at least a rare gear and a large number of single use consumables is near impossible. These towers are not just pure test of fighting skills, they also feature unblockable blood missions which drain your life and gives it to the enemy, acid rain, enemy getting armor on low health and some absolutely ridiculous damage modifiers.

Additionally, earning said consumables and rare gear is extremely grindy, requiring you to complete event specific and daily towers, as well as clearing multiple easier towers. The Krypt chests get progressively more expensive and the drop rate for a rare or better items is very low.

Creative director and studio founder Ed Boon confirmed on twitter that a fix would be coming soon.

In case you missed yesterday’s Kombat Kast: We have a hot fix/improvements koming to address those super hard Towers of Time as well as better rewards/economy to be used in the Krypt. Hoping/expecting it’ll be more like HOURS than days. Will keep you posted.

He followed up with another tweet saying the team was working to get the fix out soon for everyone. However, no time was provided when the fix would be out for the game.
