Orlock’s Heart Events

Moonlight Peaks Orlock Romance Guide
Orlock’s House

Orlock’s heart events can occur at various points in Moonlight Peaks. This does not mean that he’ll be in the same location once you’re ready to start his romantic quest. After getting to the desired heart level, look for sparkling event markers on your map. These show you the availability of an event and can also be used to locate Orlock without having to search the entire map.

Below are all the heart events for Orlock and the best answers for each interaction with her during these events.

Event Details Dialogue Choices
Two Heart To start this event, go into town after arriving at the second heart on Orlock. He’s going to search for a thing that he lost, while at the same time being drunk and hungover. -When you walk up to him, ask him if he is alright.

“Hey, are you okay?”

“Having a rough time?”

-When asked if you brought him here

“No, I found you like this.”

“Of course not.”

-When asked where “she” is, respond

“Looking for someone?”

“Who?”

-When asked if you took “her”, respond

“I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“I think I know what you’re looking for.”

-After helping Orlock find Misty Meel, the violin, respond

“That’s a pretty name”

-When told that the violin is special, respond

“I’d love to hear a song sometime.”

“I’m not getting my hopes up about hearing a song from you.”

Four Heart At heart level 4 with Orlock, go to the coffee shop to begin his next event. This one is a bit of fun and reveals a more humorous facet of Orlock’s relationship with his children. -After hearing about the bet, respond

“Hold on…what bet?”

“I never thought I’d see Orlock in uniform.”

When asked what you want

“I’m good, actually.”

“I’ll take a cappuccino”

Six Heart Take a right on Orlock to the Ambrosia Estate, then enter. This will activate Orlock’s first love event. -When you catch Orlock posing

“Uhhh…what exactly are you doing?”

“Are you…practicing poses?”

-When asked which pose is the best

“The brooding one, obviously.”

“The second one, I guess…”

“They’re both…very Orlock.”

-When told that your input is helpful

“Happy to help.”

“You’re really taking this seriously, huh?”

Eight Heart Once you’ve had eight hearts from Orlock, you’ll have to go to Ambrosia Estate to trigger another heart event from him. However, instead of making improvements on his drinking or learning about the reason for his unstable life, he will be in the midst of a creative panic. -After interrupting Orlock, he will admit he has been struggling with some “artistic torment.” Respond,

“What were you playing just now? It was beautiful.”

“Sorry, didn’t mean to interrupt you!”

-When Orlock explains that he was writing a song for you, respond,

“You’re writing me a love song?”

“You really are a romantic under all that bluster.” – If you pick this option, he will freak out.

There’s also a theme to his dates. Most are related to flower arrangements, with Orlock instructing you to arrange bouquets with lots of red and black flowers. The more time that passes with him, the more Orlock becomes familiar, as you go about his events. Behind his theatrical attitude and misjudgements lies a romantic, charismatic, gentle, and thoughtful person.

Once you hit Heart Level Three with Orlock in Moonlight Peaks, you can hug him. After reaching Heart Level Four, you can start asking him on dates. Keep in mind that your relationship can lose hearts if you perform poorly during dates; picking the flowers he dislikes can result in a failed date. This will lead to you losing heart points and will only be regained by giving him additional gifts
