An unnamed millionaire has expressed his desire to build a real-life battle royale island through HushHush.com and he wants someone to set it up. The millionaire is currently looking for a private island that is suitable for the real-life event and is also hoping for a game developer who can actually set it up for him.
The battle royale will follow all the generic battle royale rules however people are not going to kill each other. Instead, the battles will be fought with Airsoft along with touch-sensitive body armor which will identify when the person is hit. The prize for the winner will be £100,000 while the millionaire is offering £45,000 for a six-week contract so that someone can set up the event.
100 random people will be invited for the battle which will take place over 3 days. At night, players will be provided with food and camping gear however they will not be able to leave the area. All gear will be provided to the players by the management. At the end of three days, the one surviving winner will be given the prize.
Each day will be divided into 12 hours. After 12 hours, the battle will stop and players will camp and rest so that they are fresh for the next day. The management will also arrange all medical supplies for the players in case of any sort of emergency. Developers who are interested in trying their luck to land the contract can fill this online form until April 22. Results will be announced on May 10.
This sounds like a very promising idea and if the management manages to pull this off successfully, this is going to start a very cool idea and it could attract some serious sponsorships and money in the future. The first battle royale is going to be very crucial and the management will need to be extra vigilante to ensure that everything goes smoothly. If not, it could be very bad for the future of any such events.
