After a lot of announcements of games coming to Xbox Game Pass, we now have an announcement that Microsoft is removing games from Xbox Game Pass as well. In this month’s batch, 10 games are getting axed from the service which shows that Xbox Game Pass library will not always expand but Microsoft may choose to remove the games as well whenever it wants.
The games getting removed from the service this month include Outlast, The Swapper, Sheltered, Homefront: The Revolution, Sonic and Knuckles (Xbox 360), OlliOlii, OlliOlli2: XL Edition, Pumped BMX+, Unmechanical: Extended Edition, and The Golf Club. Most of the games are understandable that they do not have a lot of following however The Swapper and Outlast are two amazing games.
In the horror genre, Outlast holds its own very special place and removing it from the service does not make much sense. Xbox Game Pass sheds its weight every month by removing games which are old or do not have much following. However, this time we have Outlast and The Swapper leaving the service as well which are two awesome games. Games will be removed at the end of this month.
It is not all gloom and doom for Xbox Game Pass this month however as Microsoft recently announced six heavy hitters are arriving in the service as well. The new titles include the fan favorite Monster Hunter: World and Prey. Both of these are amazing titles and very few expected them to arrive this early.
Other titles include Life is Strange: Episode 2, The Golf Club 2, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and Resident Evil 5. Monster Hunter: World is an amazing game and we highly recommend players to try it if they have not played it already. The Golf Club 2 is the second title in the franchise so if someone is missing the first title leaving the service, they can play the next one.
Xbox Game Pass is a premium video game service which allows subscribers to download and play a healthy library of video games which include some Xbox One exclusives as well such as Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4. Players can subscribe to the service for $10 per month and download and play any game available in the subscription.
