Mega Man Live-Action Movie Adaptation Announced By Capcom

Mega Man is finally getting a movie and as announced by Capcom, it will be a live-action Hollywood film. This is the first time Mega Man is getting its own movie and surprisingly, we are looking forward to it.

Announced by Capcom, the movie will be named simply ‘Mega Man’ and will be written and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. Ariel Schulman has many movies such as Paranormal Activity 3, 4, and Catfish under his resume. The movie will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.

Another important name in this movie adaptation is Chernin Entertainment, which will produce the movie with Masi Oka. Masi Oka is a famous Japanese American actor, producer, and digital effects artist who has also played a role in NBC’s Heroes. Chernin Entertainment is behind the Planet of the Apes franchise. So far, many good names are behind the Mega Man movie adaptation so we can hope that we will be getting a solid movie.

Capcom is planning for a movie, which will appeal to a diverse audience whether they have played the game, or not. They want to capture the attention of both fans of the game and the action movie lovers. Their exact words on how the movie was that it would be a movie that

Currently, a release date for the movie has not been announced. However, since a decent move takes around 1 or 2 years so our bet is late 2019 or early 2020 for it to come out.
