Matchmaking, 4th Character Might Be Coming to Devil May Cry 5

Matchmaking Devil May Cry 5

A recent datamining leak has revealed that matchmaking and another 4th playable character might be coming to Devil May Cry 5. The fourth playable character turns out to be none other than Vergil who is the second son of Sparda.

The recent leak was shared by a user on Reddit as he dug in the game files and managed to file some interesting things in there. He found out the Vergil might be added to Devil May Cry 5 sometime in the future as another playable character. We already know that at this point, Devil May Cry 5 has three playable characters.

Thanks to a user Nekorun who posted a video on YouTube, we actually got to see the actual gameplay of Vergil in a Nero’s level. This clearly shows that the files are clearly in the code for Vergil and they might be used later in a DLC or so. It could be a chance that Capcom might release Vergil as a playable character for the Bloody Palace mode.

You can check out Nekroun’s video below.

Bloody Palace is an arena where players can jump in and spend hours and hours slaying demons. Adding Vergil along with the Bloody Palace could be a good idea as players will get another new player to dive in the new mode with.

Coming to matchmaking, we can only think of matchmaking in the Bloody Palace which could mean that players will be able to slay demons in the Bloody Palace with other players online. This could be a very cool new feature to be added to Bloody Palace. Capcom has not however released any official information on this at this point.

Capcom might reveal more information on the fourth character later when it gives out more information about Bloody Palace mode. We will share any information on GamesHedge that comes out so make sure that you keep checking back for more. If you want to check out some Devil May Cry 5 guides, check out the links below.
