Mass Effect is one of the most popular titles by BioWare, especially with the first three games that the community love and holds dearly. The latest game in the series, Mass Effect: Andromeda, was a step away from the main story of the game, and was not as well-received as many thought it would pre-launch. The game was filled with bugs, technical glitches, and weird facial animations.
A remaster of the original games would have always been on the cards, considering that remasters are doing really well recently. We have seen Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 remakes recently that have done pretty well among fans. Not to forget Final Fantasy 7 Remake which was recently released back in March on the PlayStation 4.
EA has still to confirm what it intends with the Mass Effect series or if they are indeed working on an HD remake of the trilogy. In addition, we also don’t know what the other games out of the 14 which the company has mentioned for the next fiscal year. We might have to wait for more information over the next few months to get any more hints.
