Square Enix has just revealed the trailer of Marvel’s Avengers at E3 2019. The game is an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-op gameplay. The game can be played both in solo and coop modes however players will have more fun if they assemble their team and jump in the game along with their friends.
The trailer is a pretty action-packed one however it starts peacefully with our favorite heroes celebrating their day with their fans but suddenly everything goes wrong and they are forced to abandon their celebrations and turn to the new threat. Due to the event, the Avengers are disbanded and everyone walks their own separate path.
After five years, the world is in a very poor condition and the only way to save the planet is to reassemble the Avengers. The reveal trailer showed us some of our favourite heroes however there still a lot of missing from the game at this point. The trailer shows us Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man in the game. We would love to see the remaining Avengers come to the game as well in the future.
The game is developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos Montreal while the publisher is Square Enix. We have some really strong names behind this game so we can say that it will be a pretty solid game. The game is a result of a partnership between Marvel Games and Square Enix and it might also give us some more Marvel games in the future.
The developers have also announced the cast of Marvel’s Avengers and we have a strong lineup of voice actors behind all Avengers. They are:
- Iron Man: Nolan North
- Bruce Banner: Troy Baker
- Black Widow: Laura Bailey
- Captain America: Jeff Schine
- Thor: Travis Willingham
The developers also announced that Marvel’s Avengers will receive periodic free DLC and updates which will add new missions and heroes to the game. This future content will be detailed at a later stage however it will be free for all players and this is because they want everyone who owns the game to play the game like it is meant to be played.
Marvel’s Avengers is slated for a release on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.
