3D Bioluminescent Puzzle Platformer Lumote Gets January 2020 Release Date

Luminawesome Games has announced that their debut release Lumote is all set for its release in January 2020 on PC via Steam. Players will possess, jump and think their way through this beautiful 3D puzzle platformer featuring vivid graphics and quirky characters. Players jump in the shoes of Lumote, a squishy bio-luminescent creature who is on a quest to overthrow the Mastermote.

Lumote is a game about two opposing powers where Blue power is controlled by Lumote and the red power is controlled by the Mastermote. Players play as Lumote who comes with the ability to jump and possess and they have to use the abilities of different Motes to solve a world full of puzzles. Each Mote comes with its own unique abilities however they can be controlled by Mastermote as well so they might help or hinder the player as they travel the world and try to take on Mastermote.

Players will get to explore the beautiful world of Lumote which is divided into three biomes and each biome is important when it comes to taking over. Players must gain control of all the towers in one biome before they move to the next one. Each tower will bring new challenges to the table and will allow players to mark their completion and mastery of a mechanic. Pictographic blocks in the towers will also tell players the story of the world on Motes.

Liminawesome is a video game development studio based in downtown Vancouver, Canada and is their first project is Lumote. The team initially comprised of Kule and Michelle who were one of the winning teams for the October Unreal Game Jam with their game Bump. The studio was later expanded when Aaron Arndt and Paul Ruskay joined the team. They worked to create the custom-built engine rEngine on which Lumote is running.

Lumote is slated to release in January 2020 on exclusively on PC via Steam.
