LuGus Studios and astragon Entertainment have announced that their superfast drone racing simulation game Liftoff: Drone Racing is making its way to consoles. Liftoff: Drone Racing was earlier released only on PC where the title is extremely popular with the community. After much wait and fan-demand, the developer has finally decided to release the title on consoles as well. Liftoff: Drone Racing will release on PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
As part of the announcement, the developer has shared new information, screenshots and a brand new trailer for Liftoff: Drone Racing. Fans heading to PAX East in Boston will also be able to preview the early access version of the game from February 27 to March 1, 2020. The title will be part of the astragon exhibition portfolio. The Early Access version of the title will give players a small taste of what they can expect from the full console release planned for later this year.
Liftoff: Drone Racing was released on PC via Steam back in September 2018 and the title has been a great hit amongst drone racing enthusiasts. It was due to this lasting popularity that astragon decided to bring the title to consoles as well. For the console release, the developer has partnered with Belgian studio LuGus Studios to bring the title to PS4 and Xbox One. It will bring the complete Liftoff: Drone Racing experience to both consoles.
