Square Enix has released the launch trailer for their upcoming stealth/shooter hybrid title Left Alive ahead of its launch. Earlier Square Enix had announced that the game has gone gold and now they have finally released the launch trailer right before the game’s Japan release.

The launch trailer begins with a little history lesson as the narrator explains the initial invasion of Novo Slava. Left Alive is based in Novo Slava so this serves as a source of important information as we get to know what led to today’s events. The trailer further continues and introduces us to some of the in-game characters.

Apart from general narrative and cutscene, the trailer also shows some gameplay footage. The earlier trailers were more focused on stealth but this time around we get to see some real action that will be featured in Left Alive. We also get to see a little bit of mech action in the latest trailer.

Square Enix earlier released an exclusive 14-minute gameplay video which also revealed all the playable characters in the game. The game features three playable characters and each of them have their own approach style.

You can check out the video below which shows all three characters in action. Players can pick between stealth and head-on approaches to counter the enemies they face in the game.

You can also check the out the Q&A session between the director Toshifumi Nabeshima and mech designer Takayuki Yanase. During this session, both of them discuss about various aspects of the game while showing us some clips of mech combat and general mech gameplay. You can check out the video below. Left Alive is releasing tomorrow in Japan while the global launch date is March 5 on PS4 and PC.
