Kingdom Hearts III Will Require Around 40GB Space for Installation

Kingdom Hearts III

The biggest concern these days with modern consoles is HDD space. Every time a new game is about to launch, players who are still using the base version console start on their epic journey to save up some to HDD space for the new game. Same is the case with the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III.

Kingdom Hearts III is just around the corner and everyone is waiting for the game to come out quickly so that we can finally get to play the third title in the franchise after such a long time. As usual, emptying up enough space for KH3 will be on many players’ mind.

A Twitter user who goes by the name of soranchu0309 recently posted a picture of the game cover which has revealed the space required for Kingdom Hearts III. It turns out that KH3 will require a good 40GB on PS4 and a little less of 35.8GB on Xbox One.

40GB is not too much or not too low. It sits in the average game size of this generation but for players who are still using their 500GB consoles and are already full, they will need to plan ahead for the game.

If you currently own an external HDD then you should be good to go or even console variants that came with 1TB or 2TB HDDs are good. As a user of a 500GB console, I can relate that there is never a time when the console is not full and for reviews I have to delete a game which is currently not even halfway finished.

Now that we know the size of the game, we have exactly a month before KH3 finally comes out so it is now time to invest in a portable HDD or simply finish some games on your consoles so that you can start Kingdom Hearts III as soon as the game launches.

The developers recently revealed the final trailer of the game which showed the final boss moments of the game. A Special Edition PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro are also on the way for fans who want to retain the game’s legacy for a long time.

Kingdom Hearts III is releasing on January 29, 2019 and will come out on PS4 and Xbox One.
